Wesleyan Freeman Asian Scholarship

The Wesleyan Freeman Asian Scholars Program provides full scholarships for a four-year course of study at Wesleyan toward a bachelor鈥檚 degree for exceptionally able students from Asia with demonstrated financial need. Citizens of The People鈥檚 Republic of China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam are eligible to be considered for the scholarship. To qualify, students must be citizens or permanent residents of one of these countries (and not dual U.S. citizens or permanent residents). Transfer applicants are not eligible for the Freeman Asian Scholarship. Each Freeman Scholar will receive a scholarship to cover the full cost of attendance, including tuition, fees, room and board, supplies, and travel, totaling over $90,000 in funding. Students applying to Wesleyan from one of the countries included in the program with demonstrated financial need will be automatically considered. To be eligible, students must apply for financial aid and have demonstrated need.
