The Fulbright Commission the Netherlands offers one or two fully sponsored scholarships for high achieving students with limited financial means. The scholarship allows the students to spend one year at an American college of university, to explore a variety of courses and learn about American culture. Eligibility requirements - Applicants must hold Dutch citizenship. A second nationality is not an issue. - Succesful applicants attend gymnasium or vwo, have good study results and demonstrate active social involvement. - Applicants must demonstrate financial need.
