This scholarship emphasizes the University of New Mexico's commitment to international education and honors the cultural heritage and historical that our state shares with Mexico. The grant represents a reduction of approximately 50% of the cost of tuition for non-resident students to attend the University of New Mexico. This scholarship is granted automatically to Mexican students who are accepted to the university and cannot be combined with other discounts or scholarships. Mexican students who are interested in this scholarship must fulfill the regular international admission requirements for the University of New Mexico and identify themselves as Mexican citizens. The discount will be reflected in the tuition bill after registration for courses at the UNM campus.
