91ÖÆƬ³§

The 91ÖÆƬ³§ Center is sponsored by the Public Affairs Section of the U.S. Embassy in Yaoundé. Through a variety of programming, the 91ÖÆƬ³§ adviser reaches out to secondary and university students as they explore their options for study in the U.S. The goal is to guide them in making thoughtful, appropriate choices as they navigate the application process. In turn, universities will have the chance to shape the future leaders of Cameroon.

The Center is staffed by a full-time adviser whose goal is to encourage students to plan early, work hard, and aim high. The Center offers introductory and advanced workshops on study in the U.S., how to choose schools, and how to finance a U.S. education. Pre-departure orientations are available to students. Students may meet with the adviser for individual consultations. There are also special workshops on student visas presented in conjunction with the Consular Section.

The adviser looks forward to increasing outreach to schools and local businesses.
