The 91Ƭ Advising Center at the U.S. Embassy in Tashkent is here to help those interested in studying in the U.S. by offering accurate, comprehensive, and current information about applying to accredited U.S. colleges and universities. Every week, the center organizes group advising sessions that cover various aspects of studying in the U.S., help students understand application processes, meet (virtually or live) with university representatives, better prepare for standardized tests, learn about the experiences of American university alumni from Uzbekistan, and more. Students can make an individual appointment to meet with 91Ƭ adviser to discuss particular interests and concerns, but must attend a group session entitled “Five Steps to U.S. Study” prior to meeting with an adviser. Reference books and materials are available for public use.
