ÌýThe Education USA advising center service, program hosted by the State Department of the United States works as part of the Instituto Chileno Norteamericano de Cultura Chillan, or binational center and inside its facilities. This educational and cultural institution is a non- profit center Ìýand was founded on May 21, 1955 as part of an exchange initiative of agricultural techniques between the Departments of Agriculture of both USA and Chile. Our mission aims to a constant cultural interchange and contribution to the understanding of both countries. We work together with other programs from ÌýInstituto Chileno Norteamericano in Santiago, Fulbright and the government of Chile (scholarships). Our advising service is free, giving information about undergraduate and graduate programs in the USA: lectures, individual support and Ìýtranslations. Our library has the advising center facilities and is open to the public and our advisees have free WIFI internet connection inside our building. Our BNC is also the cultural reference where American tourists or US citizens living in our country can celebrate and participate from American holidays.Ìý
