The 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ advising center at the Esquina Franklin, Biblioteca Pública del Estado de Jalisco "Juan José Arreola", in Guadalajara, Mexico, offers professional educational advising on undergraduate programs to the states of Jalisco and Guanajuato and undergraduate and graduate programs to Aguascalientes.
Operating at the Comprehensive level, our advising center services students who are interested in engaging in academic exchange between Mexico and the U.S. From studying English as a foreign language, participating in short term exchanges, enrolling into full academic degree programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels at accredited U.S. higher education institutions. Our 91ÖÆÆ¬³§ advising center promotes a wide variety of academic opportunities and supports students, parents, teachers, local governments and higher education institutions in their efforts to achieve their academic mobility goals.
The center provides a variety of educational services, including free introductory public information sessions on various topics of U.S. education, webinars, individual consultations on U.S. study, and application support services. It also provides logistical support to accredited U.S. higher education institutions on recruitment in Mexico as well as supports open public events such as presentations and fairs to promote exchange opportunities, working closely with the local educational communities in Jalisco, Guanajuato and Aguascalientes.
The Franklin Corner at the Biblioteca Púbica del Estado de Jalisco "Juan José Arreola", is an American Space affiliated to the U.S. Department of State. Located within the BPEJ, a local library and media center, the Franklin Corner is a space in which the local community can enjoy cultural and educational activities that promote the strong bond among the US and Mexico.
