The center also provides information about tests and testing procedures, accreditation, distance learning, visa requirements, and all other pertinent information about studying in the United States.

Free Information Sessions Open Doors of Opportunity
Description: Each week, Education USA hosts free information sessions to prospective students on the opportunities available to study in the United States. These sessions educate the public on the U.S. higher education structure and delves deeper on the 5 Steps towards pursuing education in the U.S. These sessions are also an opportunity to introduce prospective students to different U.S. colleges and universities through virtual info-sessions with admission counselors from institutions around the U.S. About 500-1000 students are reached each month through this program.
Education Outreach Reaches Northern Tanzania
Description: In early March, Education USA Advisors took their education outreach efforts to the northern Tanzanian regions of Mwanza and Arusha. During these trips, they visited six schools, held two free public information sessions, shared information on two radio stations, and met with staff at a research center. The effort in these regions reach more than 1,000 students and exposed untapped student talent while sharing much-needed information on U.S. higher education and its accessibility to Tanzanians.
Strategic Outreach to High Performing Schools
Description: The Education USA advisor is currently conducting a strategic outreach to high performing schools around the city of Dar es Salaam. This outreach not only shares much needed current and accurate information on the application process to studying in the U.S., it also builds a strong relationships between the schools and Education USA. By building these relationships, Education USA becomes a bridge between Tanzanian high schools and U.S. higher education institutions.
