Following the historic Amerika Haus in Cologne, Amerika Haus e. V. NRW is now a non-profit organization that promotes German-American relations throughout North Rhine-Westphalia.
Our work focuses on events in politics, culture, economy and education. We see ourselves as a modern network organization that cooperates with various transatlantic actors in NRW and beyond to offer a platform for transatlantic dialogue. We are particularly committed to addressing and promoting the next transatlantic generation. With its focus on event planning, Amerika Haus e.V. NRW opened its new office in Apostelnstraße in 2008. With approximately 40 events on transatlantic topics per year, we reach over 4000 guests in the state of NRW.
As of April 1st 2021, we are extremely happy to announce that Amerikahaus NRW e.V. became a certified 91ÖÆƬ³§ center. It started offering free virtual assistance to all interested individuals regarding studying or research possibilities in the US.
